These terms cover use of the Hastings Home Support website. Individual services should also be agreed in writing before a visit takes place.

We try to keep information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is general information and may change. Contact us to confirm availability, the exact tasks offered and any arrangements.

Services and price

The advertised starting rate is £16 per hour for agreed non-regulated practical home help and companionship. Any minimum visit length, travel cost, shopping expense or other charge must be explained and agreed in advance. Do not assume a booking is accepted until it has been confirmed.

Scope of support

Services are limited to agreed practical household help, errands, companionship and everyday support that we are competent and permitted to provide. We do not provide personal care, clinical care, medication administration or other regulated activities. We may decline or stop a task that falls outside the agreed scope, our competence or applicable requirements.

Customers and safety

Please provide accurate information relevant to the agreed task, tell us about foreseeable risks at the property and secure pets where necessary. Arrangements for cancellations, missed visits, complaints and emergencies should be agreed directly before service begins.

Website use and liability

You must not misuse this website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general website information that has not been confirmed for your circumstances.
